A number of concerned Christians have been giving input to different aspects of the ministry: follow-up, prayer support, support for transport, food, clothing, literacy and construction of a service center.

Majority of these co-labourers have other full time engagements, so that their support to SOMI is either part time or short term. The ministry therefore faces considerable challenges.

SOMI oversees a school called ‘Love Africa’ Somi School in Kibera slum-Mashimoni.

Currently the school has 330 children, 11 teachers, a caretaker, a cook and a watchman.

We are appealing to well wishers to sponsor the very needy children and HIV orphans. The cost per month which includes breakfast, lunch and tuition is $20 or Ksh2,000.

Well wishers are encouraged to visit the school and they can also give the children other gifts i.e. shoes, clothes, books, pens and pencils, etc.
